SPOUSE MINISTRY When an inmate is in prison, usually the spouse will suffer greatly. Family Life Ministries (FLM) aim at providing tangible, physical and spiritual help to the spouses of the inmates. It is also aimed at helping them adjust to life while their spouses are still incarcerated, including coping as a single-person parent and becoming self-reliant.
FLM will also provide support to the spouses through spiritual ministries like prayer and Bible study; practical ministries such as support groups and programmes like lunches, outings, IT courses, language skills, craft and vocational training and other practical help.
Eventually, FLM hope to reach them for Christ and help integrate them into good receiving churches who can understand their unique struggles.

In-Care is concerned with the ministering of the Gospel to inmates. PFS and its volunteers conduct Chapel Services, Bible Study, Prison Alpha, Counseling, and Community Re-integration Programme.
In July 2006, a joint initiative by PFS and Singapore Prison Service brought about the first intensive Religious Counseling Programme in Changi Prison Cluster A.
Forming an integral part of In-Care are the weekly Chapel services, and Bible Study Sessions in the prisons. Every inmate is a precious soul to the kingdom of God. As such, the proclamation of the Gospel and discipleship process becomes a purposeful key component.

Community Re-Integration Programme |
|
The Community Reintegration Programme, or CRP for short, is an initiative of Singapore Prison Service. CRP is one of a series of rehabilitation programmes to address problems that may interfere with an inmate's ability to function effectively in society upon release. It works towards preparing the inmates adequately for their return into the community in the areas of employment and social reintegration.
It consists of related skills training, which cover common obstacles such as job search, goal setting and money management. Essentially, CRP is divided into 3 modules, being, Career Guide, Reintegration with Community, & Reintegration with Family. Barring certain criteria, all inmates are eligible for this programme, which is delivered two months before their release from prison.
PFS has been working with Singapore Prison in providing volunteer-facilitators for weekly sessions. This gives us the opportunity to build a working relationship with the inmates for aftercare purposes, especially in the area of church integration and community reintegration.
